Beyond the US Shores the world is full of endless tyles of building from antiquity to present. Just like in the US these all have a lot to say about the peoples and cultures who created them.

Germany is a place of Castles, monuments and Cathedrals. Here we have Porta Negra - Munich Rathaus - Burg Hhenzollern - Berg Nurnberg - Schloss Lichtenstein - Schloss Neuschanstein - just to name a few.
From Russia we have the principle gates in the Kremlin Wall along with Lennins Tomb and to many onion domed churches to try and pronounce.
In Englan we can find the Blackpool Tower, the Tower of London, and St. Micheals on Glastonbury Tor, Somerset House, Hillingdon Court, and a Georgian House facade by Timothey Richards.
Also from England we have a Gothic Foley, Langley Park Slough, The Tyle Theater, a trinket box from the White Rose Suiting Co., a bath Row House, and Horace Walpoles' Stawberry Hill House.

Rome is so full of ruins and many of these but not all cross over with the Grand Tour. This is just a nice group photo of some highlights. Note the fine work of the Jennings Brothers who made bookend out of many templs c 1920
Egypt always puts on a great show with its exotic grand architecture. this shelf is all about the many faces of Pharos. Note Tutmose has the seat of honor on center.
The Pyramids are by Bergman, Microcosms, Bergman, unknown. The pylons are by Jennings Bros and mistakenly called Egyptian Tomb. Pylons are ceremonial Entrances, usualy to a Temple
These are a fine example of the Jennings brothers work. They are call Egyptian Tomb and were book ends made in several finish patinas. The problem is they are not tombs at all but an architectural element call a Pylon. Pylons were ceremonial entrances usually to a temple.
More Jennings Brothers book ends. Above is the papyrus motif colonnade called Temple of Isis. Below is thier Porch of the Caryatids
Here we have three versions of the Temple of Castor and Pollux. the center is a JB book end and the other two are as found souvenirs.
I have been to this museum and the show really does start at the front doors. Timothy richards did this reduction.
Another great fasade is the Sloane Museum in London. I promise the inside will knock your sox off so don't miss it if you get a change!
A presentation model of St. Joseph Oratory that was given to donors before the church was built. the plans changed during construction and the end result is the domes were virtually eliminated and what stands today does not look like this.
The Basilica at Lourdes looks really nice in this very large version? Note the actual Grotto is depicted in the lower right side undert the building.
From London's British Heritage Days are the models of Westminster Abby and St Paul's Cathedral.
The White Tower aka Tower of London is the original castle keep. the solid bronze model is a real favorite of mine made by Microcosms.
